The Expressionist, Gee D. Artiste AKA GDA, a native of Fond-Des Blanc, Haiti is an artist like no other on the scene today. This vocalist, writer, composer, producer, musician, arranger, is undeniably gifted. It would be very difficult to place this extremely multitalented recording and performing young talent into any existing category or genre. His innovative style is so versatile that a mere classification could not possible do justice. Weather he is serenading his audience with melodic R&B and Latin ballads or making us dance with funky reggae, pop, hiphop, compas or zouk rhythms, his music is always a refreshing, unique experience.

GDA learned to express himself and the world around him through music at a very young age. As a teenager he found an avenue to tell stories of love, pain and suffering through instruments such as the clarinet, saxophone, keyboard and, of course, his voice. While serving 8 years in the U.S. Army, GDA no doubt experienced and learned a lot about the joys and pain of humanity as a whole. His experiences both at home in Haiti, here in America and abroad gives GDA special insight into the plight of people of many different cultures.

It is this mixture of cultures and experiences that makes him a well rounded artist as well as a humanitarian. His upcoming self produced album, titled SELF EXPRESSION, encourages us to have fun and enjoy life by moving us to dance with songs such as, Stop Wasting My Time, and All My Love. While his sexy new single, Shake That Body”, makes us want to do just that. At the same time GDA uses his artistic genius to make us stop and think by incorporating inspirational songs like, Sometimes In Life, God Is On My Side, I Will Be There, and We Need A Change (a message for Haiti). Through his songs GDA urges us to come together as a people and create the change we need in the world. His message is simple, “We are all one through our creator, and so only through our creator can we find the strength to make a change. This multitalented visionary has definitely found his voice, and is utilizing it to spread his message throughout the world. It is evident, that through his music, GDA has truly mastered the art of expression.
