Sasha Jackson isan upcoming artist in the making, was born on May 3,1990 in Newark,N.J. Right after she was born, she and her mother; Mavis Jackson, moved to Woodbridge, N.J. At the age of 3, they moved to Fords a town about 10 minutes away. Sasha and her mother stayed there till she was 6 yrs old. From there they moved to Sayreville, N.J. It was at the age of 7, that Sasha began to show interest in music. She would often go to her older cousin Sharon's house in metuchen, and record herself on the tape recorder. Because she was good at just about everything she touched, she payed it no mind. Until she was 11 years old. At this time she was staying with her aunt and her family in Englewood,N.J;while her mother was in her homeland (Ghana,West Africa). Everyday, she would go on the computer and write new songs & remixes to alredy made songs on microsoft word. She found herself getting involved in all the school plays & activities that hhad to do with music. The song writing went on for many years, and it was at the age of 16 that she first recorded any track ever. This track was entiltled "Seems Like." The song was made by Sasha, and a few of her male friends who were also engaged in the music field. Although they had said they would stick together to make more tracks, eventually that faded. So Sasha started working on her own. Early 2008, Sasha made a track recorded by a young upcoming producer entitled, "Got Me In A Daze." She received positive feedback on the track encouraging her to send the demo to her highschool's new record label;Fedora Records. The school's label loved it, and instantly requested that she go on the album, "Insert Title Here." Ofcourse being overwhelmed, and happy, Sasha accepted the oppurtunity. A little later that year Sasha made another track "Love Shuttle." Love Shuttle was recorded by the leader of an upcoming group who had actually wanted her to join the group;but things did not work out. Just recently, Sasha recorded her latest track entitled "Took A Sip," influenced by her party life. So far she has received a lot of positive feedback,but there is yet more to come.
