Prophet is originally from the North end of Hartford, CT. He is the
youngest child of two hard working, middle class Jamaican immigrants. Growing up in a poverty stricken community with a high crime rate was an extreme challenge for this young man. Unlike many of his peers he felt as though he deserved more then just the crack infested corners presented to him. At the tender age of 9 he began writing lyrics and reciting them to anyone who would listen. The positive response that he would receive became extremely addictive which made him want to pursue a career in the
music industry. At 15 he began hanging out on some of Hartfords most notorious blocks such as Cabot Street and Blue Hills avenue. These areas make up for almost 90% of the murders in Hartford. With the moneys earned from his small time hustle and working odd jobs he put together his first independent release at 16, entitled The Most Official. The album dropped two weeks after the death of his Father who was the biggest influence in his life. With no knowledge of marketing or promoting this young man attempted to gain a fan base in a city where at the time really didnt have much of a music scene for locals. He was successful in capturing the attention of his hometown state and decided to make a permanent move to Atlanta after graduating from Weaver High. With the help of G-units AnR Hassan Agent Bouhaire, he was able to relocate and start working on music with established artists like former Death Row producer Sam Sneed. Since being in Atlanta Prophet has worked with Ludacriss in house producer Ice Drake, written rnb songs over Chuck Harmony tracks, started managing one of the hottest up and coming producers Wallstreet and so much more. When hes not getting stabbed in the back by his two ex partners Charlie and Khan, he is working on finishing up his album Guilty by Association. Prophet is definitely working on becoming a business Mogul with his long list of money making ventures. Continue to check his page for any updates on his rising career.
